I too have girlie wrists. :)) So I'm stuck with the black case should I choose eto get one. Would prefer the silver case. Might go try on the 46mm to see how much bigger it is on my wrist. :) Don't know why Samsung wouldn't include a silver 42mm case. They'd make more money.

Nice vid, the back of ypur 42 looks like the back of the 46 plus your 42 has water lock where as my 42 frontier doesn't. Any idea why there is a difference in the 2 of the same size...

I'm hoping for your inputs regarding the "guidelines" samsung wote below: I've read the official "release notes" from Samsung Website. These maybe the reasons why you had an inaccurate results for the HRM. *If heart rate measurements are taken at low temperatures, the result may be inaccurate. *Do not move your body while taking heart rate measurements. Doing so may cause your heart rate to be recorded inaccurately. *Users with thin wrists may receive inaccurate heart rate measurements. If the measurement is very different from the expected heart rate, rest for 30 minutes and measure it again. *Measurements are calculated using average values and may need to be repeated at least five times. During winter or in cold weather, keep yourself warm when measuring your heart rate. *Smoking or consuming alcohol before taking measurements may cause your heart rate to be different from your normal heart rate. *Do not talk, yawn, or breathe deeply while taking heart rate measurements. *If your heart rate is extremely high or low, measurements may be inaccurate. *Heart rate measurements taken for infants and toddlers may be inaccurate.

Yes but can you bring back the watch from sleep just by flicking the wrist as they advertise? BECAUSE NOW the adds show the users twisting the bezel to wake up the watch . Do not get me wrong I LOVE the watch but the interfaces to set features ,modify colors etc SUCKS. Now you MUST get two apps Galaxy WEAR & Watchmaker . Another ANNOYING quirk. If you try to purchase a face from WEAR .. You get a message "Samsung pay has already been set up. NO OTHER INFO. and NO new face . So buying a face FROM your phone is impossible. The fact that the Google APP store has lost a ton of previous faces leads to believe that the face Biz will be a monopoly of SAMSUNG and Samsung is in no hurry to fix. WE know ALL first adopters get screwed at some point .. BUT why not give a discount ton 1st adopters if it is THEY who will make the watch perfect.

I'm sorry but I don't understand how you think you showed every feature on the watch by just presenting the settings. How about heart rate tracking, activity tracking, show us how you handle notifications (can you reply to them through the watch and if so how well it works), what can you do with Bixpy -how fast and efficient is it, show us how you receive calls and messages -comment on the call quality. I'm sorry but that's a dislike from me, I was promised a complete walkthrough (what can you do with the watch) and I got an overview of the specs and setting instead (8 mins lost from my life + 2 minutes to write this comment) -- You owe me 10 minutes of quality video buddy! :P

I have the smaller version (42mm) and I get into a 3rd day before needing a charge. Some quick tips on better battery performance. 1. Turn OFF wifi (there is no use for it as your always connected via bluetooth on your phone). 2. Turn OFF GPS (turn it on only when you need it) 3. Keep brightness below 5 and have "auto low brightness" ON 4. Clear "Recent apps" under settings whenever multiple apps open. 5. If you don't use the heart rate monitor turn it off or keep it at every 10 minute interval. 6. Use watch face that is dominantly black and be cautious of which watch faces you use as some consume a lot more battery than others. 7. Keep widgets to a minimum. 8. Turn OFF "Voice wake-up"

Hi! I am looking hard to see if a Galaxy Watch does what I expect it or not. Now I have a Huawei 2, and I use OK GOOGLE very much. Galaxy Watch has Bixby which is totally useless. So I am thinking if it is possible to disable it & install the Google App. Do you know if it is possible? Can I install & use it instead of the Bixby? One more thing, you can copy mp3 files to it & listen to them. Is there an app to watch videos on it, too? Thanks in advance.

The only reason anyone would buy Samsung Gear watch was Samsung pay with MST. Now that Samsung removed MST, Samsung Pay has no meaning. Why would anyone pick "Tizen" over wear OS? Samsung killed that one reason that tempted people to buy Samsung watches now. I am using Gear S3 frontier just because it has MST. But what I am losing? - Huge list of applications like Google Maps, Pandora, working Spotify, Play Music and so many wear OS applications (almost all 3rd party applications on Tizen are unusable). More than anything here is the reason one shouldn't buy Tizen over Wear OS - notifications and ability to respond. I use Whatsapp and Messenger a lot. There is no Tizen app for Whatsapp or messenger and notifications are pathetic. You can't see a chain of notifications and there is no way to respond to a specific message. I might sell my Gear S3 Frontier and buy a nice Android wear
