Oh wow just watched the review, and I am glad I did. I was also very excited about this new foundation launch, but I think I will pass BECAUSE I am also falling in love with Loreal new 24 hours foundation after only one use. For the price of Hourglass, I expect perfection. I can't wait to wear Loreal's foundation again. Thank you for reviewing that foundation too. :)

The entire selling point of this foundation is that you do NOT need primer why would you buy something specificity made to not use primer and then have to use primer to “make it better” no that like when you go to the hospital for a gash and they suture it with dissolvable sutures so you don’t have to come back to get the taken out but you still go back to get them taken out liken why would you do that ? You are completely disregarding the entire purpose. Plus a lot of people are saying she used 3+ pumps of foundation did we watch the same vid ? She used 1 full pump for both her face and neck because the color didn’t match half pump for face and half pump for neck. And again why would you say use a primer when it says don’t 😂 it’s like buying a push to start car and then spending the money to convert it to a key turn ignition totally missing the point of the product 😂

Love you so freaking much Tati and I always appreciate your honesty! I truly believe you save me tons of money on wasted products.! I do have one thing to mention though, your camera is blurring so I can hardly ever see when you are talking about foundation “grabbing at dry patches” not just in this video but anytime that happens. I can see that this separated weird in the last check In, but before that it looked pretty good, but I could notice a tiny bit what you’re talking about, just not fully if that makes sense. I've been using this foundation for a week.. I have super oily skin. And skin has never been so oily.. even the 1st few hours of wear,, oil sleek mess.... 😭 I give it a fair shot used it everyday for 7 days.. everyday is the same how oily my face. Used primers and all. Still made me super oily. I hate it... 😭 I rather use the wet and wild foundation, that keeps me more matte than this foundation. ♥️

I’d be interested to see a second try using together with your usual primer and less product as instructed. There may be a reason they suggested half of pump is all you need.

I’ve seen a lot of people who didn’t like it when used without a primer but when they used their regular pore filling/smoothing primer with a good hydrating primer they actually enjoyed it!

I don't think it would do well on oily skin either Tati. If it looks that oily on your combo/dry skin type...it would look like the 2011 Chevron Disaster on me. Thanks for the review though because I was considering buying it. Won't be now. 🙂

I wish I watched this earlier... I have oily skin and large pores, and bought this last week. It completely broke apart and melted into my pores... I wore this out, looking fine before I left and was mortified how I looked when I got home... If it melted on you it’s going to look a disaster on large pores!

Hi Tati, love you! Maybe next time use primer in half your face, to know if that had fixed the situation. I’ve watched the video in my iPad, and I did see that the foundation wasn’t working, it did accumulated in areas where it shouldn’t. Maybe I saw it because this happens to me regularly, and it’s hard for me find a foundation that doesn’t do that. Now I wanna try the stick one, because she says that it doesn’t happen to her with that one.

I had the same experience, tried it twice, with primer and without. I have dry skin, and the foundation looked beautiful at first, except for the fact it was exaggerating dryness on my forehead that I didn't notice with other foundations. Few hours later, it started to separate on my nose and my chin... Too bad, because I love Hourglass too. Thanks for your honest review!

There’s honestly no rules in makeup 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s all about your own technique! If you try and work with something and try different things to make it work, and it doesn’t, it’s okay and it’s not the end of the world! I love seeing Tati’s reviews!
