There are no aliens, except in your tiny lost mind. God created the universe, and when sin has reached the point where God says enough, creation will be wiped out, sinners will go to the eternal lake of fire, and true Christians will be in heaven with God.

The academic scientific brain is not built for imaginative concepts. It simply needs facts. They do not seem to realize that their facts are interpreted by instruments that have been built by that same brain. So therefore the instruments are only showing the things it can interpret. The funny thing is that most of the research that is done is fueled by a hypothesis.. A theory of what might be.. With this theory you are scoping the research before it has started. Observation window is way too narrow, relatively speaking. I mean where does the concept of energy entities with consciousness without carbon-based bodies fit in the scientific realm? If we cannot prove something on scientific basis, it does not mean that it is not true...

I am obsessed with knowing more about aliens. But what I think is that we are not alone on earth, we think we own the earth yet earth belongs to Aliens, we are just like pets in a zoo. every living thing has its own way of living but we humans think that we are above all(What if all other species on earth also think the way we think that they are smarter than all?), look all we did earth was just to destroy it and yet we call it technology/civilization. other animals are smarter than us instead! When other species see us, they don't see any civilization just the way we cannot understand theirs. Aliens are here, there are in every single planet but we cannot see them. we cannot see anything on Jupiter or anywhere else but there are a lot of colonies of aliens. The reason we cannot see them is because of something I can compare as an illusion, and also because of the humans think that our lifestyle should be like theirs(life which is based on Oxygen, Water, temperature,..)

Something bothers me. Each time I watch one of those vids about the likelihood of alien life, nobody ever mentions the fact that, to this day, life seems to have appeared only once on the surface of Earth. A unique event. We all share the same origin, a single cell ancestor that started to autoreplicate, and since then, 2 billion years of rather good conditions didn't produce a single brand new organism, with a different, new system of replication. What are the odds?!? Especially since all life ingredients are now made available by the already existing life forms, which reject basic bricks that shoud facilitate a new event of this kind. Don't you find it curious? Is there a reason why it didn't happen twice on Earth? Other than the extreme unlikelihood of such an event? I keep thinking about this... 2 billion years and yet we all remain cousins.

A place I have never been. But somehow I knew this will be my future house. I had control of my body. I was able to grab things on the desk. I decide to grab something and read what it said. I pulled out the item and I read what it said. The item said Switch power adapter. Why would I have a power adapter for Nintendo switch and why would this item show me multiple images when I looked at it. The whole thing felt like a simulation. Do I have some type of power I don't know about? Are humans evolving to be able to see the the future. There is one other time that I felt like I saw the future.

  40. Chilli Trav

    Chilli Trav4 วันที่ผ่านมา

Personally, Joanne, I take no offense to the notion. I just think it’d be an awfully sad waste of space. They don’t need to be visiting, we don’t have to hear from them, they don’t need to be technologically advanced, they don’t even need to be in our galaxy. I’d just like to think that there’s at least some other monkey [or some analog] out there somewhere in one galaxy or another enjoying a sunset, as another little rock circles a nondescript star. That’d be nice. One might ask, “So, why not just believe it then if that makes you happy?” Simply put, there is no evidence. Such is the necessity rationalism and skepticism. The refusal to fall back on “belief” necessitates accepting that life elsewhere may essentially never evolve beyond unicellular structures due to the astronomical odds against mitochondrial endocytosis, which can be a bit of a downer for prospects of exoplanetary sunsets. But to buy into belief is far worse. It’s the “believers” that have historically been the ones to become offended, intransigent, belligerent, militant, and motivated to pogroms, inquisitions, wars, and genocides. If we are to survive to be starfarers, who might even be the ones to leave evidence answering whether some other protean species is alone in the universe, then it’s the “believers” we need to do without ...but still, it sure would be nice to hope for someone else to be enjoying a sunset with all that free space, don’t you think? Just not offended, either way.

+Mohammed El Massri Essentially yes (not sure if you're joking/trolling though?), if you are serious then that would be the general idea. Formulating where and how to even begin such a task & experiments is the challenging part. The methods needed may be so nuanced, subtle and far below what we consider even the most rudimentary, basic forms of communication while, paradoxically, at the same time immensely complex? We keep searching space for other beings & life in what so far seems to be a practice in futility. We need to humble ourselves and look inside instead of outward, smaller instead of bigger, micro instead of macro. Could their be some semblance of intelligence & awareness at the quantum level?, of experiences that so far have escaped our clumsy, arrogant, obtuse, & boxed in thinking, science & methods? Once we can reach down I think reaching up will soon naturally follow.

How about a wild theory, say many millennia ago Earth was used as a prison colony and that is why each Country had a different Colour person on it ? You know something similar to what England did with Australia a few centuries ago :) How do we know Aliens aren't here and walking amongst us, taking holidays in different places, they could look exactly like us, they don't need to be little green men, or they could be any shape and use a holographic suit or some form of mental stimulater that makes us see them as they want us to ? If they are so far ahead of us, they could do this with ease. We see UFO's all the time and people say they have been abducted as well, how reliable they are who knows but only one out of all of them needs to be true and bingo, they do exist. I for one say a UFO when I was 12 the first time and over the years have seen 3 more, I was never alone when I saw them and always had at 12 an Adult with me and later my Wife was with me each time and sober as well ) We have to stop thinking as monkeys as we are more intelligent than Monkeys and yet people make up these silly Ted talks or videos to try and justify their waste of time on this Earth. It's madness to think all that Universe is just for us, it's very moronic and Christian mentality, which is below an intelligent species. I have no idea why a Government would want to hide the fact from us that they do exist, but Project Blue Book proves they do exist and the Government doesn't want us to know. They also spent 100's of millions of Dollars on research on how to react to an Alien invasion or Alien arrival, in the sense that many come and show up in the sky and they can't say it was swamp gas :). You don't spend money time and effort on trying to convince people something doesn't exist if it doesn't :) Be like starting up a Big foot department to go around looking into Big foot sightings and then explaining them away, never happened and yet there are as many stories of Big Foot or Yeti or all the other weird and wonderful things they have local legends about :) I know what I saw 50 years ago was not a human made vehicle as they don't have Planes or air craft that can move as it did now ? They are still decades away from Anti-gravity and Force fields and that's from the experts mouths not mine :) I think once we can actually go past LEO as a normal thing, rather than being stuck in LEO with every single manned mission then we will advance in leaps and bounds, as long as we are stuck in LEO, new space technology won't develop, we need to be in space for this to happen, just sitting safely a few miles above the ground, they may as well be in Helium filled balloons floating above the ground for all the good it does and is why our travel into space has only been done by machines. Name one human mission that has gone further than 500 miles from Earth in 40 years ? We are stuck and until the first successful mission gets a human past the magic LEO ceiling, we will stay Earth bound. No Mars mission can succeed till we have stayed in outer orbit for at least a year, we need a space station 50,000+ miles out and be stable for a year before they can even say with any sort of intelligence that we can send a person to Mas until then they are just pulling everyone's leg that it's possible. It's no harder to get a space station out further than it is to get them into LEO, no extra power is required, once escape velocity has been reached they can just keep going. Until they beat LEO nothing will ever happen as far as manned missions :) Tell me I am wrong ;)

Now lets take the fact that subtrafuge seems be a characteristic of advanced life forms... bacteria do not show it, but Apes sure do! and ive seen my dog hide bones from his brother... So it appears we see plenty of UFO's around, we see how our government operates (that subtrafuge thing again!) now lets ignore that and assume advanced civilizations want to be known and would not mask their noise. People got carried away when this issue was raised. There could be many reasons why we don't get stray signals.

We need to solve our problems and ensure our survival. There may not be a whole lot of other civiliazations out there or there would be abundant evidense. But in a way our existence proves beyond doubt that it is possible; and therefore it is possible (however unlikely) that others exist as well.

I think people anthropomorphize the universe and the idea of alien life. Why would another alien species have the same ethics as us, the same problems as us, the same overarching beliefs as us. Sends self replicating robots to colonize a galaxy is a complex ethical and moral question. Perhaps when civilizations get to that point, the realize the inherent problem with this action. Just because we may think, few hundred years from now, that this is a good idea, doesn't mean others will. Just because we crave knowledge/exploration/first contact, doesn't mean that others do. We may soon find, that the biggest singularity in physics, the big bang, may not be a singularity. To assume that life is so fragile that only the circumstances presented in the formation of our planet are the ones under which life could thrive is absurd. We are who we are because of our circumstance....perhaps we are no so much lucky to have made it past the "barriers", as we are built for our circumstances. Perhaps we do not see advanced alien life is because we view them through the prism of our own bias. And perhaps other aliens do the same. or perhaps they don't really care to communicate. Perhaps it is not some big mystery at all, and they are laughing at our attempts to communicate using primitive tools like a person would a dogs attempts to carry a stick too big to fit through a door.

I agree with this guy but what he says leads me to another conclusion. Maybe The Life is actually common thing in the universe but due to the fact that it appears in so far-distance from each other and in some quite short period of time we have almost 0 chances to meet each other. In other words, not only it's far as f*** between us, but also since having a life on some planet is a pretty short episode in the meaning of how long universe exist we just don't have a chance to meet one. Ever we're to distant from each other or we simply exist in different periods of time. Combaining those two makes it almost impossible to meet. So maybe life in universe is common thing, but because of only those two factors are chances are almost 0 to meet different civilization. Distance factor is obvious. Time factor - as the author said - if time when universe exists was compressed to one earth year then our modern civilization exists from last few hours. So there was a plenty of time to do something when people didn't exists (almost 365 days according to this comparision). Maybe then some life existed and maybe will be after us.

  78. Pr3ssPl4y

    Pr3ssPl4y12 วันที่ผ่านมา

4.5 billion years seems like a long time relative to our idea of time. If the Multiverse/Universe is infinite - for example - 4.5 billion years would only be a blip of time. Given the fact that it's now estimated that there are over 2 'hundred billion' *galaxies* in our Universe each containing over 100 'thousand billion' stars ~40 billion habitable planets within each galaxy I think the odds of *other* complex intelligent life arising in our Universe isn't just possible, but is most likely probable. There could be intelligent life right now hovering all around us, but we would have no clue because they've mastered invisibility or even accessing 4th dimensional space. Maybe they're just too far away for our current technology, maybe our current tech. isn't up to par with there form of communication. Or maybe they're so advanced that they pay us no attention; I mean when's the last time you attempted a conversation with a worm? Now reverse that, could a worm even begin to comprehend our level of understanding and our life experiences? Of course not. Perhaps the closest advanced life forms haven't discovered electricity yet. Who knows? But to say that 'we are alone' based on there being 'too many barriers' to break through isn't taking into account the incomprehensible number of planets (chances) in our Universe and totally rejects the conceptour Universe/Multiverse possibly being infinite along with the other points I've mentioned above.

Tell something which we don't know. Where f**k are the aliens, are they in our mind just like ghost or its just a theme to make us explore more. Do some one played with our DNA so that we are here. Why so much of technology just popped out in this 100 years why not 1000 years back.

It is irrational to think we are alone in the universe. After all we are here...thus the chances of life in the universe has now gone above 0% chance it exists. What I'm saying is to think it happened only here is crazy. The question then is: can we wrap our heads around it and accept it?

Absurd. Says one in a thousand for habitable planet as first filter, yet admits our closest star has a potentially habitable planet. More like 1:1 or 1:10, no where near 1:1000. Change the numbers like that and you’re back to millions of civilizations.

We could also use his logic of elimination, to explain - not why there are no other civilizations out there, but why a radio signal sent from an alien world failed to reach Earth.

This is absurd! Just because we haven't heard from Aliens does NOT mean they don't exist! Even if they do, communication between remote planets is almost impossible so for all practical purposes we are alone. Imagine talking to a planet 1,000 Light Years away: you say "Hi" now and only get a response in the year 4019 assuming they got the signal and are able or willing to respond. And 1,000 LY is just next door!

This is by far the best explaination of a resolution to the Fermi Paradox that I have heard. Pay particular attention starting at 10:35.

Given the fact that it's now estimated that there are over 2 'hundred billion' galaxies in our Universe each containing over 100 'thousand billion' stars ~40 billion habitable planets within each galaxy I think the odds of other complex intelligent life arising in our Universe isn't just possible, but is most likely probable. There could be intelligent life right now hovering all around us, but we would have no clue because they've mastered invisibility or even accessing 4th dimensional space. Maybe they're just too far away for our current technology, maybe our current tech. isn't up to par with their form of communication. Who knows? But to say that 'we are alone' based on there being 'too many barriers' to break through isn't taking into account the incomprehensible number of planets (chances) in our Universe and totally rejects the concept of our Universe/Multiverse possibly being infinite along with the other points I've mentioned above.

Niels de Kok I think the central argument concerning the paradox is that we should not even have to look. There should have been evidence long before now.

I always found the Fermi Paradox flawed to begin with. I don't see any paradox. I understand the reasoning, but we will have to explore a bit more before it's becomes valid imo. Now it almost sounds silly. ''Probability estimates show there most likely are extraterrestrial civilizations, but the 0,000000001% we have investigated doesn't show any prove.

Every Time A Big Meteor Is Predicted, They Start Talking About War. They Have Done It Half A Dozen Times. They Need To Kill Off Most Of The Population To Increase The The Likelihood Of Their Own Survival. There Are Not Enough Resources To Save Us All, Unless They Make Contact With The Aliens Public. I Have Over 300 Photos And Half Dozen Videos To Prove It. They Are Not Trying To Find Aliens To Make Contact. They Are Trying To Find Aliens, So That They Can Kill Them. The Aliens Are A Threat To Profit. They Are Conservationists. People With A Lot Of Money Want Them Gone. We Only Have Eleven Months Left And I Am Getting Very Worried About This. I May Have To Go Public, To Expose These People. I Have Nothing To Gain By Making These Predictions. I Am Just Trying To Save Peoples Lives. I Have So Much Proof It's Staggering. Strange. For another earth to be able to exist in another solar system, the earth like must be absolutely perfect. 1 little nudge on our planet to the right we will have a new ice age or snowy winter now. Our earth is still habitable but now we have ice everywhere. For a earth like world having similiar life like us will never ever happen. Outside our solar system it’s space. Next solar system may not even breathe air. We don’t know. Laws of physics rule is not set to stone outside our solar system.

I think a 5th factor should be involved with why he haven't seen any real aliens: Distance. Space is so immeasurably massive that it would be actually kind of silly to think that another intelligent life-form could simply be on the other side of our galaxy. Mind you, our galaxy is ridiculously huge, but it's still a PIXEL in the grand scheme of things.
